Just out of curiosity, from my perspective in a major university where drugs are developed on a non-profit basis primarily using government money, but also clinically tested in cooperation with The Evil Pharmas, what system do you all propose to make sure that new, improved, cutting-edge medications are developed and deployed?

i’m just in the very early processes of knocking up an essay collection on this very subject with various people.
